What’s your favorite candy?

To tell the truth, I’m not the candy but more the chocolate type.

When I was much younger, there was a time when I liked Werther’s Original. I still remember the spots regarding these candies on German TV. It was always the grandpa giving his grandchild a Werther’s candy. But I had shown only a brief preference for candy.

However, a couple of weeks ago, I had a bad cough, so I picked up some throat lozenges at the pharmacy. These were Fisherman’s Friend, Cherry flavor, sugar-free. Though I wouldn’t put them in the category of typical candy. But I would take them even without having a cough, I love their intense, burning, cooling taste.

It seems the older we grow, the more our favorite tastes change, and they grow stronger, burning with age. Nevertheless, chocolate will always be my weakness.
