How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

The most significant life event for me was my move from Germany to Greece. It led me on a completely new path in life. Initially, I had some trouble adapting to life in Greece, even though I was Greek. I had grown up in Germany, and there are significant differences between the two countries. And there were also struggles in the workplace; in Greece, there were other norms, but looking back now, maybe they were tied to cultural ones as well. Anyway, after enduring hardships, I was accepted to the University of Athens, and that was crucial, too. Since this event put me on another path, it further changed me as a human, the way I think, and what I expect from life.

All I can say is that these two events triggered life-changing progress in my life. Especially my studies, they guided me slowly but steadily on the path of writing. By immersing me in the theory of literature and philosophy, which are very weighty factors in shaping me as a future writer. Besides that, the actual event that made me start writing came later: when I moved back to Germany for a short time.

In short, the moves and the passage of studies had an impact on me and changed my perspective on life.
