RIP

You tear me apart and put me back together

in a never-ending, tragic game

and I sit here

watching like an old movie

my fate marching on the lifeless road.

So, I simply wait

with hands crossed

for a slow death

that will save me

from a destructive

LOVE.

Vasiliki, this is breathtaking. You’ve captured a universe of feeling in so few linesβ€”the brutal cycle of destruction and repair, the haunting detachment of watching one’s own life like a film, and that devastating, quiet resignation. The final twist, where the “slow death” becomes not a tragedy but a salvation from a love that consumes, is absolutely piercing. This is more than a poem; it’s a raw and powerful testament to survival, to choosing peace over a beautiful poison. Your voice is clear, strong, and profoundly moving. Thank you for sharing this piece of your soul. Please keep writing.🌷🀝

I’m so sorry for the pain behind these words. Please remember, You Are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God, even in the broken places. His love heals, not destroys, and He is near to the brokenhearted – Psalm 34:18 πŸ™
