You tramped around my heart,
leaving heavy, profound marks,
beyond for me to wipe out.
Hence, I live with them,
carry them wherever I go,
until someday I will arrive
at the final stage of life.

A testament to enduring love and loss. The poem transforms the weight of heartbreak into a solemn companion. Instead of fighting the pain, the speaker accepts these “heavy, profound marks” as a permanent part of their journey, carrying them all the way to life’s end. It speaks of a love so impactful that its scars become integral to one’s identity and path. The tone is one of resigned dignity, finding a kind of somber peace in bearing what cannot be erased.
