Reflection

Do you or your family make any special dishes for the holidays?

Well, in recent years, I’ve been criticizing how, during our most holy holidays, and as a Christian, like Christmas and Easter, people focus only on what food they will prepare and what presents they will give or receive, rather than on the spiritual meaning of those holidays.

On holy days, we should reflect on the meaning this day holds for us and our connection to the divine. So, instead of laying our care on material things, food intake, and gifts. How about spending time praying and meditating to connect with the Holy Spirit?

Today’s question, one month before Christmas, I refuse to reveal or give any dish ideas.

That is a beautifully thoughtful and important perspective. It’s a powerful reminder to pause and recenter ourselves during times that are meant for spiritual significance. In a world that often emphasizes consumption, choosing to focus on the divine connection is a truly inspiring stance. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt message; it serves as a valuable encouragement for everyone to nourish their spirit, especially during the holy seasons.

Exactly, Srikanth. Our society has become increasingly consumptive, and nourishing our spirit is essential nowadays.
