What book are you reading right now?
I recently started reading “The Toy Makers” by Robert Dinsdale.
This book tells the story of the Emporium, a family business in 1917 that sells toys, captivating the imagination of children and adults alike.
One day, Cathy Wray arrives, who had run away from home because she had done something shameful to her family’s reputation. Cathy will slowly realize that this family business keeps its unsolved mysteries.
All in all, it’s a pleasant story, easy and quick to read.
But I’m more excited about the following books I intend to read. Yesterday and a week before, I purchased different books. These books are:
-The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
-Les Misérables by Victor Hugo
-Stein on Writing by Sol Stein
-Plot & Structure, by James Scott Bell
Classic Literature and books about writing are my reading themes for the upcoming period. As for the books on writing, I think that, especially as a writer, you can always learn more and improve. So, specifically, I’m very hooked and curious about Stein’s book on writing.
