What makes a good neighbor?

A good neighbor respects the boundaries between their property and mine. How many fights have happened between neighbors regarding fence and tree issues? For example, the branches of your tree hang over the fence. I think this is the first step that should be respected to have a peaceful neighborliness.  

The second thing, when the first condition is respected, is to help each other, I mean, when there’s an emergency. And, if you’re celebrating something, they don’t get easily annoyed about the music and the noise. The best solution would be to invite them to the party.

So, that’s what comes to my mind now. This would mean the following characteristics make a good neighbor: Having respect, being helpful, and being flexible. Furthermore, I believe that to be good neighbors, it is essential to create something like a team, such as a sports team, like a football team. You share one purpose: a more expansive space of living. So, who doesn’t want to live in a peaceful and beautiful area?
