Karmic Life

List three jobs you’d consider pursuing if money didn’t matter.

  1. Writing, which I’m doing now.
  2. Teaching, which I did before I started writing. Although I gave up teaching due to my great love for writing, I felt that teaching didn’t completely fulfill me. I had fun teaching, especially when I saw that my hard work was paying off and my students were doing well.
  3. Literary critic, next to writing, I’m also very devoted to reading. For that reason, reading books and discussing them as a job would also be great for me, regardless of the compensation.

Generally speaking, doing a job you really love without caring about the money you get. If someone has the option to do it, they can count themselves as very lucky, so do I.  However, as I deeply believe in Karma and the outcomes of Vedic Astrology, and having thoroughly analyzed my Vedic birth chart, I’m convinced that some people must go through the process of detachment from materialism to reap the fruits of life later. Of course, you need support from your family for that, but as I said, I believe in Karma, and I believe that God and the Universe have taken care of everything.
