How do you celebrate holidays?
Well, if it refers to summer holidays, I haven’t been on vacation for the last 5 years.
When it comes to Eastern and Christmas holidays, I celebrate at home with my family. But…. There’s always a but in my case. Since I work from home and have become a workaholic over the last couple of years, I still manage to work a little on holidays. And when dinner is served, I sit happily with my family and enjoy the super incredibly delicious meals that my mother has cooked.
Isn’t Christmas and Eastern all about drinking and food?
All joking aside.
At Christmas and Easter, the most holy holidays, I prefer to go to church one or two days before or after the actual celebration day, and light a candle and pray. I developed this habit because I can concentrate and feel spiritually closer to God when there are fewer people around me.
