Practice Makes The Master

Write about your most epic baking or cooking fail.

To be honest, I don’t cook very often, and when I do, I prepare simple, quick, and easy dishes. So, in this case, nothing much can go wrong.

I’m a baking fan and bake at least once a week. Well, baking is a bit more complicated than cooking since it is crucially connected with chemical reactions. This means that the ingredients and their amounts play a significant role, as well as the temperature of baking.

The thing I tried to bake and needed many tries to find the perfect recipe for was brioche bread. I experienced many failures, and one of the worst was when I put in too much sugar, which caused it not to rise as it should have while baking. The other disastrous result was that, although it looked nicely brown from the outside, it was underbaked inside. Consequently, you couldn’t eat it at all.

But I kept on trying, and as the saying goes, “Practice makes the master,” I finally found the perfect recipe.
