What does your ideal home look like?

Home, I think home is, for every one of us, something sacred. It’s a place where we find physical and emotional shelter. Home is a port of love and safety, like when a seaman returns after a long journey and excitedly sails into port to see again the faces he loves.   

Well, regarding my ideal home, I don’t place much weight on having extraordinary luxury facilities. There are only three things I demand that are essential to me. First, regarding the environment, it should be situated near the sea and feature a green landscape. Second, it should have a large terrace, because I love sitting outside and enjoying the breeze, especially in the morning and evening. The third detail is the people I share my home with. I should be able to trust them blindly.

I think that’s it, I don’t expect more from my ideal home. Furthermore, lately, I have been thinking seriously about moving to an island in the future. We have so many islands here in Greece, I’m sure I will find a perfect spot.
