The sky cracked wide open,

and God’s tears

overflowed the earth

with suffering and despair.

To take care

and admonish

humans’ unyielding hearts.

But as wise as he is,

he still believes

and firmly holds

that someday the flag

of chaste love

will proudly rise

in heaven’s paradise.
