Light in summer

What foods would you like to make?

I guess you mean dishes.

Well, I’m more of a baking type, but lately I’ve been feeling the inclination to do more cooking.

So, the dish I would like to make is grilled octopus with lemon sauce, accompanied by a Greek salad and sourdough bread. Dipping bites of bread into the fruity olive oil tastes heavenly. It’s summer, and I think it’s a perfect light meal to have.

But today I’m baking. I have now put the biscuit case in the oven, and later in the afternoon, I’m going to make my raspberry cake.

Sounds like you’re balancing savory and sweet like a pro! Grilled octopus with lemon and Greek salad screams summer perfection—especially with that sourdough for dipping. And now, the shift to baking? Biscuits and raspberry cake? You’re basically curating the ideal foodie day.

Keep chasing those culinary moods—your kitchen (and taste buds) will thank you! 👨🍳🔥🍰
