Which food, when you eat it, instantly transports you to childhood?
Spaghetti!
Well, many of you may think now: Ohhh! How boring or ordinary. But yes, it’s Spaghetti.
My mother worked at Bosch and for as far as I can remember she worked shifts. So, she usually cooked quick food on weekdays, especially when time was short. She used to buy Miracoli very often, which I would call a spaghetti kit. Why?
The package contained three servings of Spaghetti, tomato sauce with seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Everything is at hand and easy to cook. I recall the tomato sauce’s unique taste and seasoning.
Therefore, whenever I eat Spaghetti, I remember my little me eating spaghetti. Here in Greece, we don’t have Miracoli, and the last time I was in Germany, I searched for it but couldn’t find it.
