Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?
Well, yesterday’s question was about listing three books that impacted us and why. Today, it’s about the books from our childhood.
A long time ago, a very long time, I can’t even remember now what books I’d read during my studies. However, if I remember well, the first book I read in my childhood was “Emil and the Detectives” by Erich Kästner, but I can’t say that it was one of my favorites. I didn’t have a favorite at this age. I just wanted to read as much as possible, so I didn’t read any book twice, characterizing it as my favorite.
Later in my teenage years, I tended to list some books as my favorites and read them more than once. One favorite from that time was “Caesar” by Alexandre Dumas.
Mmmm, I now realize I prefer classic writers, even from that young age.
