Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.
Well, it’s not me doing it continuously or off and on. It’s actually a decision I made that provides me with joy now.
I adopted my girl dog Lucy in 2020 and decided to adopt another dog last autumn. Lucy would soon be five years old, and I thought it best for her to have a companion now. Like humans, we also need companions in life.
I got the chance thanks to Lucy’s vet, who told me that Beagles would be available for adoption around spring. So, of course, I grabbed the opportunity and told him I wanted to adopt one dog.
Long story short, on 15th April 2025, I adopted my little girl, Maja. At the beginning, Lucy and Maja had difficulties approaching each other, but they play wonderfully together now. Seeing them play so joyfully together also brings joy into my life.
So, all I can say is that having a dog, especially two dogs, bears a lot of responsibility, but at the same time, it’s a huge blessing, because seeing such a simple thing as two dogs playing together can bring happiness into your life.
