Do you practice religion?
I believe in that higher power, which is called God. In Jesus and the Saints, we Greek Orthodox have.
When I feel stressed, feel thereβs no way out, or need spiritual support, I find solace in the Virgin Mary, by praying to her or chanting the Service of Paraklesis (Request).
Otherwise, I do not go to church every Sunday or pray daily. I used to do this many years ago, but in the meantime, Iβve developed a unique way of communicating with God.
My favorite Saint is the Virgin Mary, as I mentioned above, sheβs the only one who gives me strength. I remember our bishop telling us a story, and he said in the end: When you have any trouble, ask the Virgin Mary devotedly, and she will ask her son, Jesus. Her son will never reject his motherβs wish to help others.
