Do you remember life before the internet?
I started using the Internet much later than when it became available. I think the Internet is both a blessing and a curse.
It is a blessing because it makes life significantly easier in many areas and quickly gives you access to the information you need.
On the other hand, you can get lost in the vast web world. For example, fall into an easy scam victim, or get confused by the plenty of information you have access to, and it ends up that you are misinformed. Furthermore, the internet distracts you; I mean, you get too much absorbed, sometimes addicted to the internet.
Regarding the question, if I remember, how was life before the internet? Yes, I do. I remember having much more time and doing more deeply grounded things, such as spending a lot of time in nature and observing things around me more profoundly.
Anyway, the progress of our society, especially in our working routine, where the internet has intruded in many working fields, means there is no chance of avoiding using the internet. It’s a new system dragging you into it. You want it or not. As it happens with me, I need the internet and social apps to promote my work. But in your free time, it is vital to cut off the internet and enjoy doing things that are a blessing to your soul.
