Do you vote in political elections?

As a Greek citizen, I have participated in every election since moving to Greece, whether in the parliamentary, municipal, or European elections.
If I am satisfied with my choice, this is another question; for that reason, I’m unsure if I will participate in the next elections.
Seeing what is going on, not only in my country but worldwide, I concluded that politics is a dirty game, and I often compare it to the mafia. Behind every government is a powerful lobby that ultimately decides according to its own interests. The lobbies have the money and power, but the simple citizen ultimately pays the bill. Literally and metaphorically.
On the other hand, our vote is our only voice; we can impose our influence on how society should be shaped.
In the end, it is important to get informed about every party’s program before going to vote and not to fall for every promise they make. It is certain they will not fulfill even half of these promises.
