Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Well, I hope and wish I will be alive and healthy in 10 years. That’s the most important thing.
Years ago, regarding my job, family, and status, I promised myself I would not be tempted to plan too far ahead. You will wonder why.
I was used to doing this in my teenage years, 20s, and even mid-30s; the only thing I achieved was to get disappointed. When I always had a plan or a vision where I would stand at one point, it got ruined. And this threw me off track, painfully. So, life told me not to make too many plans; otherwise, I would hit you hard. However, it had a positive outcome; it made me more spiritual. Things that are meant to happen will happen at the right time. Planning doesn’t help much at this point.
Of course, making plans to progress in life is necessary, but I don’t do it over a long period of time. For example, I have an idea about a project, brainstorm how to set it up, and start working on it passionately and decisively until I finish it. Step by step, one project automatically leads to the next one without making big plans ahead. I let myself be surprised; I go with the flow.
Aren’t surprises the most beautiful thing in life?
