What was the best compliment you’ve received?

Well, some people in this world might need to hear compliments about their looks or skills to boost their confidence.

Honestly, I do not pay much attention to compliments. When I receive one, I thank the other person but do not think much about it. I just say to myself, “Move on, go back to work.”

However, there is one compliment I still remember: the one my university professor gave to me when I was unsure which master’s program I should choose. I was between a program in Literature or Education.  She told me I should keep up with literature because I am good at comparative literature and generally analyzing literature from a scientific perspective.

I was happy about that compliment because I always loved literature and wanted to dive deeper into it.
