What books do you want to read?

My to-read book list—see picture 2—has been ready since the beginning of 2025.

I finished Angela Merkel’s biography, Freedom, Memoirs 1954-2021 this weekend. First of all, I didn’t regret reading it. It’s not only a biography book but also has historical characteristics. You learn about how life was in DDR from the inside viewpoint of Merkel, and since Merkel was 16 years chancellor of Germany, you read a lot about historical moments and how the leaders reacted to these events. Furthermore, you can see a clearer picture of Merkel’s way of thinking and her politics.

Today, I will begin my journey with Marcel Proust by reading “In Search for Lost Time.” I have all the volumes, which are 2,045 pages long. I think it’s the perfect time to read this work from Proust; according to Vedic Astrology, Venus will enter the sign of Pisces on the 28th of January and stay there until the end of May, excluding her retrograde phase. Pisces is my 12^th house, which has the energy of spirituality, imagination, intuition, and isolation. For that reason, the energy of Venus in my 12^th house, Pisces, is the best combination to read, especially these books.

I’m only wondering when I will finish them, hopefully before the end of May. 😊🤞
