Transformation

What is one thing you would change about yourself?

What would I change about myself? I prefer to say transform because change sounds absolute and a bit harsh.

Open and genuinely speaking, I have a tremendous amount of optimism. (So far.) I think the reason is that in my natal chart, Jupiter is in the sign of Virgo, together with Saturn. Especially in the last 16 years, during my Jupiter Mahadasha, I was literally bursting with optimism.

Now, I think that’s too much of a good thing because, in the last quarter of this year, I started to feel that something is slowly changing inside me regarding this over-optimism.  I have to mention that my Mahadasha has changed; I’m now in the Saturn Mahadasha period for the next 20 years. Those who know little about Astrology will understand Saturn is a heavy, serious, and karmic planet. Entering this Saturn period, I began to notice and be extremely sensitive about what was going on around me, in society, and generally in the world. This sensitive observation keeps increasing steadily; unfortunately, I sense more challenging times for us to come. If not, a massive shift does happen in our attitude and morals towards life and humanity.

So, you can realize that my optimism is slowly becoming pessimistic. Strangely, I haven’t even read much of Arthur Schopenhauer, but I intend to do so very soon. Thankfully, parallel with this optimism-pessimism transformation, I have increased my writing production, and I hope to balance this transformation through my writing.
