Camaraderie

What makes a good neighbor?

First, and most importantly, to maintain peace between neighbors, both should respect the property line, especially if the house and grounds are owned. Well, in the case of rental, then you complain to your landlord, and things get more complicated and time-consuming.

Neighbors should be friendly and respectful and help each other because the neighbor is the closest person to you except for family members and people who live with you. So, when there’s a serious emergency and you need prompt help, your neighbor might be the first to help you.

Good neighbors protect each other; criminality is rising. When you’re not at home or on an extended vacation, it is good to know your neighbor has a protective eye on your property.

Another potential benefit of good neighborly relations is the convenience they can provide. If you have children and an unexpected crisis occurs, such as a sudden need for a babysitter, your neighbor might step in, providing much-needed support and relief.

All in all, I think these are good reasons to maintain good, strong relations and camaraderie with your neighbor. Moreover, we should also generally be kind and supportive of all people around us.
