Ketu’s detachment from wealth

What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

I will answer this question with the help of Vedic Astrology.

I have Ketu in my 10th house and Rahu in the 4th house in my natal chart.

The 10th house refers to the profession, career, reputation, income, social status, etc.

The 4th house relates to home, mother, roots, traditions, etc.

Who are Rahu and Ketu?

Rahu and Ketu are not exactly planets; they are the nodes. Rahu is the north node, and Ketu is the south node. To explain it better, Rahu is the head of the serpent, and Ketu the tail. Both represent our karma: Rahu, where we must head and Ketu, our past Karma. Finally, the role of Rahu and Ketu is to guide us to liberation, or Moksha, in the cycle of birth and death. During that process, they shape our lives through experiences and everything that happens to us; for that reason, their position in our birth chart is crucial.

What impact do Rahu and Ketu have?

Rahu embodies our desire for success, recognition, authority, fame, and wealth, but at the same time, it creates confusion, deception, greed, obsession, etc.

Ketu embodies spiritual inclination, detachment, and liberation. Ketu tries to lead us to seek the truth, inner peace, and detachment from material attachments.

Let me share my personal experience with Ketu in the 10th house. It took me a very long time to find my professional calling. I explored various jobs until I discovered my true vocation. This realization dawned on me after I let myself dive deeper into spirituality, such as reading extensively about Astrology, meditating, and listening to mantras. My focus was never on material wealth or possessions but rather on whether I found my work spiritually fulfilling.

For that reason, if I lost all my possessions, it wouldn’t impact me very much; I would just start again from scratch, as long as my spiritual well-being is at the highest level.

To complete the picture regarding Rahu, Rahu in my fourth house gives me the desire to gain money, but this desire is kept in balance due to Ketu’s placement in my chart. Furthermore, it gives me a solid attachment to my family, but at the same time, it leads me to move to a foreign country. This is why I strongly detach from my home country and want to move to another country.
