Your life without a computer: what does it look like?

No computer, non, nada, would mean I would write my writing projects on the typewriter or, more classically, by hand. It would take a long, long time to finish them, especially if I wanted to make changes, and I love to make changes when it comes to my writing projects. Writing formal letters, where you only have to change the address, would be time-consuming.

No computer, no online banking, so for any payment or any other bank transaction, I would have to go personally to the bank and wait for hours until I finished my business.

In the supermarket, I would have to wait again due to the long queues and people waiting at the check-out counters until they and I could finally pay for our purchases.

Long waiting hours surely have one positive aspect: you start to chat with others to pass the time. And, who knows, when the chemistry is perfect, you might find the love of your life or a good friend.

All things considered, many people have lost their jobs due to the computer; nonetheless, thanks to the computer, life, and its routines have become much easier, more manageable, and time-saving, so humans have more quality time to spend. Well, the last point is debatable.

The next question is: What comes after the computer? While we are here daily writing on our blogs, huge developments are made in the section of Artificial Intelligence; I wouldn’t be surprised when robots would live among us in a few years.

I’m both curious and terrified about robotics and AI. I’m terrified because of the inequality gap, without which I might feel more optimistic.
