What’s your favorite recipe?
I remember answering this question, and I must have mentioned Pastitsio. It is similar to Lasagna, made with minced meat, bechamel, and cheese, but it uses Bucatini pasta instead of Lasagna.
So far, nothing has changed; Pastitsio was and will be my all-time favorite dish, no matter the season.
However, since it’s summer and still very hot, I think I can speak for many of us by saying that during this season, we prefer to eat lighter meals that are satisfying.
This summer, I started regularly preparing bulgur for lunch. The recipe is bulgur with tuna fish, tomato cherries, corn, red bell pepper, and parsley. I mix cream-honey balsamic, olive oil, and lemon juice seasoned with pepper and salt for the dressing. Surely, you’ve already noticed that it is a salad, but it’s so delicious and a perfect solution for hot summer days.
