Wrong cooked

What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?

The most money I spent on a meal was when I visited a relative in England, Cambridge to be more precise.

We went to a Greek restaurant. Okay, you will say now that a Greek travels to England and visits a Greek restaurant, instead of exploring the English cuisine, anyway. I ordered Spetsofai, which is spicy sausage with pepper and tomato sauce—a lot of tomato sauce. But the Spetsofai I got was totally dry, of course, and instead of peppers, they used cabbage. All in all, its taste wasn’t how it should have been.

But what concerned me the most was that a Greek restaurant didn’t cook Greek dishes as they should be cooked, which means English people and others unfamiliar with Greek dishes would get a totally wrong impression of Greek food.

Well, what did I pay for this wrong-implemented meal? If I remember well, it was 76 British pounds, in Euros 88 and Dollars 96.

That’s a lot of money if you don’t get what you expect.
