What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?
In my eyes, well-being is built on two compounds: keeping your body healthy and staying psychologically / emotionally balanced.
To keep my body healthy, I pay attention to my nutrition, which means eating balanced meals. So, I try to avoid overeating fatty fried food, pasta, and meat; I eat meat only 1 or 2 times a week. The hardest part for me is to stay away from sweeties since they are my weak point. For that, I have a cheat day, where I eat as much as I desire and what I desire, and that’s every Saturday. On the other hand, I try to include healthy carbs like quinoa, oats, and chickpeas mainly in my diet, fish and milk products with low fat, and of course, my diet as well contains veggies and fruits. Also, doing daily work is part of the program; that’s all for my body’s health.
Well, for my psychological health, I meditate regularly; reading books also helps a lot to keep my mind balanced, writing, and, most importantly, staying away from toxic people.
