Which activities make you lose track of time?
Two activities make me lose track of time.
The one activity is writing. When I start or continue to write a poem or a story, I get lost in my imagination, research, and search for how my characters could react or evolve, in other words, how their polymorphism can be depicted in the story’s context. Once I’ve done the imaginary investigation, I start to write it down, and then I read and re-read it again and again after making many changes until I am satisfied. For that, time flies fast until I realize it.
The other activity is drawing. Once I’ve decided what I want to draw, I start, and with every stroke, I lose myself in the uncompleted drawing until I finish it with agreeable perfection. Of course, within my possibilities. It happens the same way when I write; I don’t notice how fast time has passed.
So, I can say that activities related to artistic expression are activities where I tend to lose track of time.
