How has technology changed your job?

Technology has its pros and cons. During its development, it made our lives much more comfortable, but simultaneously, it incubates a lot of danger.

One central positive aspect of technology is that we can communicate with people worldwide, no matter where we are. Also, thanks to technology, we can work more quickly and productively. On the other hand, on the negative side, Internet fraud has increased significantly in recent years. Further, one negative aspect is that many people get addicted to technology; so far, they think it is impossible to live without it. The result is that they lose the essence of using technology from a human perspective.

Regarding technology in combination with my job, I can say it helped a lot, specifically during the peak of the Covid pandemic. It provided me with the possibility to continue to teach German online, as it was impossible to do in-person lessons. In Greece we had very strict quarantine rules.

As for my writing work, WordPress and other Blog sites help me get to know people around the world, learn about different cultures, get inspired, etc., and reach out to a wider audience.
