A Special Gift

Who was your most influential teacher? Why?

My most influential teacher was my professor at the University of Athens. She ignited my love for literature, especially Franz Kafka and the Expressionist movement.

When the time came to decide which direction my master’s studies should take, I played with the thought of choosing a field in the didactic area; she said I should continue in literature. Since I have a gift for interpreting and critically analyzing literature, so I did. Nevertheless, after my studies, I worked as a German Teacher.

But my love for literature never left, and in the last couple of years, I have returned wholeheartedly to it.
